Japanese Station Records Updated for 2010
As part of the annual update of the records from global tide gauge network, PSMSL recently archived the 2010 data from the Japanese tide gauges. This update includes data from 91 RLR stations and 10 metric stations. Please go to the Obtaining Data page and sort on the date (click twice on "Date" to order by the most recent update) or country to view the updates.
Note: The data from this 2010 update proceed the devastating earthquakes and tsunami that hit Japan on 11 March 2011. However, a recent news item from the World Meteorological Organization reports that "... tidal stations destroyed by the tsunami had now mostly been restored."
