Please note: In many cases, the station position in our database is accurate
to only one minute. Thus, the tide gauge may not appear to be on the coast.
The gauge at Thule was initially installed in Sept. 2005. However, this gauge was quickly decommissioned due to corruption of the conductivity channel. the new gauge was installed in Sept. 2006. Data supplier is the Danish National Space Cente. Sampling interval is 5 mins. Gauge is an Aanderaa WLR-7 pressure gauge and the data are referred to Tide Gauge Zero. Unfortunately the gauge stopped operating in Sept.2012.
