Documentation added 2026-01-08

1854-1903 data has been added based on data recovered by the Zooniverse UK Tides project. This new data is based on ledgers of recorded measurements read off a mareogram at 15-minute intervals. Data was recorded used a siphon water conduit to the open sea (Thomson 1876).
The ledgers report heights are given relative to Liverpool's Old Dock Sill, as with the similarly recovered data from George's Landing Pier in Liverpool, see ID 15. However, we have no information about how that datum was transferred to Hilbre, we advise treating it with suspicion as values at Hilbre are consistenly tens of centimetres lower than Liverpool, with the difference varying considerably over time.
